Joel Ewing-Chow served as a member of the South Kingstown Police Department from 1995 – 2022. Beginning as a Dispatcher, Joel went on to serve the department in several roles including Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Training Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Operations Captain, Administrative Captain, and, ultimately, retiring in spring of 2022 as the Chief of Police.  

 Joel is currently the Director of Safety at the St. George's School in Middletown, RI, and serves as a Reserve Police Officer for the Town of Jamestown, RI.
